    This file is a C-64 Power-C
assembler written entirely in C and
compatible with Power-C. The file was
downloaded from the Proline Power-C
support BBS in Toronto (416-276-6811)
where many Power-C specific files
(including compiler/editor/shell
upgrades) are available for the asking.
    This assembler compiles to a 120
block .sh program file and produces
Power-C functions directly callable (no
sys() ) from C.
    It is public domain and was
intended for the C-64 Power-C version
but can also be compiled to the C-128
version with a small modification to
the additional file handling function
included. This .arc file is just as I
got it and I have not modified or
included anything new.
    If you are intent on using this as
a C-128 version consider using Power
Assembler program asm.sh which just
about duplicates this assembler in
features but is only 30 some blocks
long and much quicker. I have uploaded
instructions for the use of asm.sh to
this area also.
    This compiles on the C-128 in about
a half hour ( lots of files and
linking).

All docs are included.

ps: I have not compiled this in the
C-64 version of Power-C but I don't
expect there would be any problems.
