GEOS
Pioneer
Randy Winchester
Randy Winchester was a pioneer of GEOS in two main areas. The first was in providing 3rd party software and the second was in using PostScript equipped Laser Printers. Randy's series of AntiGrav Toolkit articles from GeoWorld magazine are available on his website at http://web.mit.edu/randy/www/antigrav as well as his GeoDisk files in Self-Extracting Archive (SFX) versions.
The SFX files have a note when you dissolve them stating that it “is OK to copy in this original set of SFX files. Sale of these files or programs is prohibited.” On September 9, 2003 Randy gave me permission to include his files on this CD. I am including the original SFX files and have also converted the disks into D64 format to be consistent with the rest of the CD. Other than that the files have not been modified.
Randy has also given me permission to include his GEOS articles from GeoWorld, Run and one that was not published. You can find them below under the AntiGrav Toolkit Web Site links.
Randy's GeoDisk has files for GEOS 64 and GeoDisk II has programs for GEOS 64 and GEOS 128.
To see what is on the individual disks follow the links below:
Randy has given me permission to include his AntiGrav ToolKit GEOS web site on the geoSpecific CD. Some of these pages may look better using Internet Explorer than Netscape browsers. I am not sure how they will appear in the Wave which is why I've included a set of files that don't use Frames and contain graphics.
