GeoCanvas
for GEOS 64 and 128
(patched
for Wheels 64 and 128 by Todd Elliott)
GeoCanvas was written by Nate Fiedler and sold as a commercial product, both by Nate and through Creative Micro Designs (CMD), before Nate released it as Public Domain.
The software is an excellent alternative to GeoPaint and has many features that set it apart from the only other GEOS drawing program. These features include movable, resizable windows and toolboxes and the ability to open 3 documents at the same time. Another HUGE difference is that GeoCanvas absolutely requires RAM Expansion.
This requirement for RAM expansion, and the way the RAM Expansion use was implemented, meant that GeoCanvas would not operate under the Wheels upgrade to GEOS that was created by Maurice Randall of Click Here Software. Todd Elliott has successfully patched GeoCanvas to run under Wheels. The patched versions appear on this CD along with the original versions for use under GEOS.
In order for GeoCanvas 64 to work properly under Wheels 64 you
must have the latest Toolbox file (at least Toolbox V5.4) from Click
Here Software. Check the Click Here Software web site
(http://cmdrkey.com/
) for updates.
Note: the disks created from these D64
images need to be serialized to your GEOS/Wheels System. This means
that you must run GeoCanvas from the original disk the first time you
use it. After that you can copy GeoCanvas to any of your other disks.

Other GEOS programs:
Nate also created a disk full of other utility programs for GEOS users. Some of these are very good and you will find great benefit from having them in your GEOS library.
